How does cover design affect what video games men and women are attracted to?
Introduction
Many people believe men are attracted to this game, and women are attracted to that one. Is this true? My guess is that a female would want to play a game with a female on the cover. I also think a male would want to play a game with a male or guns on the front. Materials

6 Game covers Procedure
1.Gather all materials
2.Gather testers, 3 of each gender, into a room one at a time.
3.Have each one, alone, write which cover they are attracted to.
4.Compile answers.
5.Compare them.

Independent: Type of cover
Constant: All were game covers
Dependent: Preference of each gender. Results (Data Table)
OVERALL BEST: Little Big Planet With 2 Boy votes/ and Final Fantasy 13 with 2 Girl votes
OVERALL WORST: HALO 3 With 1 Boy, and 1 Girl vote
I was surprised how open minded the testers were on voting a E rated game the best out of them all, and the males were the ones who voted for it, although I wasn’t surprised when the girls voted for Final Fantasy 13. I was also surprised that Halo 3 of all things got last. With 1 male and 1 female vote. Conclusion
For the most part, they all chose the ones where the character in the foreground was their own gender. It was also apparent that each person had their own opinion rather than going with what a friend told them to do. So this experiment was overall a success. Possible Causes of error
I may not have gotten enough testers for a survey.
